Max, Seattle Book Club’s chief book organizer.

Seattle Book Club is committed to cultivating a community of sustainability and love of reading. Through book pickups and affordable sales, we strive to keep more books out of dumps and in the hands of the community.

Our Mission.

The faces behind the books.

Sam Founder of Seattle Book Club

Sam founded SBC when she noticed a need for rehoming books so they could continue to be loved. A believer of sustainability and promoting the love of reading, she’s overjoyed to join the Seattle indie bookstore community. SBC was named as a nod to her own book club made up of very dear friends.

Frank Tech Supervisor

The brains behind the website, Frank keeps all technical things running smoothly. A professional software developer by day and toddler book reader by night, SBC wouldn’t run without him!

Aaron Official Photographer

Aaron is a Seattle-based photographer who took most of the pictures featured on our website. Passionate and precise, he makes sure our team-and books- look their best!

Codi Creative Director

The one behind all of the fun ideas, Codi makes Seattle Book Club stand out with her unique vision and passion for creativity.

Seattle Book Club is a bookstore that sells secondhand books online and at local events. We have a wide variety of used books, including a large vintage section. We are pleased to be part of the sustainability effort by rehoming unused books. Books that cannot be sold are donated to local charities or responsibly recycled.

How we give back.

Sometimes we receive book donations that we can’t sell, but still have life left in them. We donate these books to organizations that we feel will put them to good use. Books 2 Prisoners is our top donation spot currently, and we are always looking for more places to donate.
